Neighbourhoods

NORTH VANCOUVER:

A mix of traditional single family homes and expanding condominium development means North Vancouver’s economy and community are continuously growing. This area offers a variety of neighborhoods to fall in love with from bustling waterfront city centers like Lonsdale Quay (which features skyline views of downtown Vancouver and a quick 10 minute commute by Seabus) to serene residential cul-de-sacs like Canyon Heights and Edgemont Village. With two local ski hills, Mount Seymour and Grouse Mountain, it is an ideal area for those interested in a natural and active lifestyle. Test your athleticism on the iconic Grouse Grind Hike, and then head to lush Lynn Valley for some mountain biking and more gorgeous forest trails to explore. Or, try kayaking in Deep Cove and spoil yourself afterwards with a delicious treat from renowned Honey’s Doughnuts. What’s not to love?

WEST VANCOUVER:

Nestled into the West side of the North Shore Mountains, charming West Vancouver is the perfect place to call home with its tree-lined streets, esteemed schools, and it’s a highly-valued and active community presence. Here you will find unparalleled views of the Downtown cityscape, Pacific Ocean, and beyond. It’s not hard to see why the immaculate properties found in West Vancouver have made it such an exclusive area. For sprawling private estates with exquisitely-designed architecture check out the British Properties, or if remote and mellow is more your style, the lovely waterfront community of Horseshoe Bay has plenty of character with its traditional cottages and active Ferry Terminal. In West Vancouver you’ll be completely spoiled with a local ski hill, Cypress Mountain, as well as two sandy beaches, Ambleside and Dunderave which showcase a spectacular 5.5 km ocean-front seawall. No need to head downtown for shopping as the upscale stores in Park Royal Shopping Center offer everything you’ll ever need.

VANCOUVER EAST:

Bordered to the North by the Burrard Inlet and to the South by the Fraser River, East Vancouver is a lively urban neighbourhood brimming with culture. Filled with plenty of character thanks to the vibrant art scene and ethnically diverse population, East Vancouver offers an array of housing options from traditional Heritage Homes to modern condominiums. Well-known for its unique restaurants, art galleries, and shops with a bohemian flare, it’s never a dull moment in spunky East Van.
